// how it works
Yours, a fund's, or the KOL you copy. There is nothing to connect and nothing to sign.
Each transaction the wallet paid for is split into the trade itself and what it cost on top.
Costs by type and by day, the costliest transactions, sandwich checks, and a card to share on X.
// methodology
Every figure comes from public Solana data. Fees and tips are recorded exactly on chain. Sandwich losses have to be reconstructed from the block around your swap, so they are estimates.
| Metric | How LEAK measures it | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Bot fees | SOL and WSOL transfers from your wallet to the known fee wallets of 40+ trading bots and terminals (Axiom, Photon, BullX, Trojan, GMGN, Padre, BonkBot and more), inside your swap transactions. Wallet lists come from Dune spellbook and DefiLlama. | Exact |
| Priority & network fees | The fee field of each successful transaction: 5,000 lamports per signature plus the priority fee you set. | Exact |
| Jito tips | Transfers from your wallet to Jito's eight tip accounts. | Exact |
| Failed transactions | Fees paid by transactions that failed. Their transfers and tips were reverted, so only the fee counts. | Exact |
| Sandwich attacks | For your largest swaps, LEAK reads the block and looks for a wallet that signed a trade in the same token before yours and sold the same amount after it, ending with a net SOL gain. Its gain is your estimated loss. Sandwiches spread over several blocks are not detected yet. | Estimate |
| Volume | SOL that moved for each swap, after fees, tips, bot fees and token-account rent are taken out. Token-to-token swaps without SOL are not counted. | Exact |
| Slippage, exit value, risk flags | Planned. They need pool state at the moment of each trade and live sell quotes. | Not yet |
// questions
No. LEAK only reads public transactions for the address you enter. Audits never ask for a signature, so there is nothing to approve. Only the optional $LEAK holder check on the plans page asks you to sign a message, and that moves no funds.
Trading bots take their fee as a transfer to their own fee wallets inside your swap. LEAK matches those transfers against a list of known fee wallets for each bot, collected from Dune and DefiLlama.
Many bots send the same trade several times through different relays so one lands fast. The copies fail, and each one still pays its fee.
It looks for a wallet that bought right before your swap and sold the same amount right after, in the same block, and only counts it when that wallet ended up with a gain. Sandwiches spread over several blocks are not detected yet.
Very active wallets can have tens of thousands of transactions. LEAK reads the most recent ones up to a limit and says so in the report.
Yes. Every Solana wallet is public, so you can audit any address, including the traders you copy.
